MPA is Hiring!

Do you want some experience in grassroots politics? Looking for a job you can feel good about? Worried about four more years of Governor LePage?

Good news! MPA is hiring for three new positions on our fall grassroots voter education campaign.

The race for governor and many legislative races are likely to be determined by just a handful of votes, and we know that out-of-state corporate interests are going to spend millions to influence the elections in Maine. In a non-presidential election year, when so many registered Maine voters aren't likely to make it to the polls unless someone convinces them that it's important to vote, face-to-face, neighbor-to-neighbor conversations about what's at stake in this election are what will make the difference.

That's why we need you!

Voters don't need to hear just from the candidates and political parties about who to support or why they should vote - they need to hear it from other Mainers. MPA has teamed up with allies like Planned Parenthood, the AFL-CIO, Environment Maine and others to launch the largest statewide neighbor-to-neighbor voter outreach program in our history.

We are looking to fill several new positions (in Portland, Lewiston and Bangor) to help us meet our goal of talking to the thousands of voters we know will make the difference in November:

•    Grassroots Field Organizers
•    Field Canvass Director
•    Voter Registration Coordinator

Full and part time positions are available. Pay depends on position but starts at $90/day. Please email a resume and cover letter to [email protected] to express interest and we can share more details about the positions.
