Hiring: Full-Time Administrative Coordinator

MPA is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our organization. This position is responsible for maintaining an organized office, performing administrative tasks and assisting staff as needed. This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week, and reporting directly to the Field Strategy Director.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform general administrative and staff support tasks to ensure organizational performance
  • Assist with staff travel and meeting arrangements
  • Manage office volunteers
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Monitor incoming mail
  • Greet visitors to the office
  • Oversee office facility management and maintenance
  • Coordinate the use and organization of organizational office spaces
  • Manage the maintenance of office machineries such as computer, copiers, postage meters, etc

A qualified applicant should possess:

  • Self-motivation and an ability to successfully work independently, as part of a team, and as a team leader
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and occasional weekends
  • Prior administrative or office management experience
  • Commitment to MPA’s mission

This position is based in Portland and will report to MPA’s Field Strategy Director, Bridget Surber.

The position is full time with starting salary range $36,000 - $43,000. MPA is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to equity and inclusion.
