MPA Volunteer Self-Care Sessions: Mindfulness Meditation Sit

MPA Senior Organizer Gen Lysen will lead volunteers through a short (20 minute) meditation sit.  We incorporate learning and practicing the skills of a basic body scan, and open-awareness practice.  We will continue try some different approaches, practices and to work on specific mindfulness skills.  No experience is required: only curiosity and a desire to be more present, calm and kind.
