MPA Campaign Vote! 2022 Endorsements

Since our founding over 40 years ago, one of our core values at MPA has been the belief that Mainers from all walks of life should be able to take part in our political process. That includes making sure that people most directly impacted by injustice and systems of oppression are able to lead efforts for policy change.

Every election cycle, MPA member leaders evaluate candidates in state races and recommend endorsements for those individuals who show through their responses to questionnaires and interviews that they share our values and will work hard to make Maine a better place.

This year we’re proud to endorse an exciting and diverse slate of progressive candidates for the Maine State Legislature. We’re excited to throw our support behind these incredible candidates and we’re ready to work hard to get them elected in November.

That’s why we’re launching our voter engagement work now. Through the rest of the summer and into the fall, MPA canvassers and volunteers plan to knock on tens of thousands of doors and have conversations with Mainers in every corner of the state.

We are proud to support these candidates as they seek to represent the people of Maine:
